CLINIC OWNERSHIP PROGRAM
Starting a Chiropractic Clinic is like building a house – certain things have to happen in a particular order in order for everything to stand strong and work correctly. When building a house, if you tried to put up your walls before you had a solid foundation, your walls would be weak and eventually collapse. If you tried to put on your roof before the walls were ready, you would run into the same problem. The same is true for running a successful clinic.
THE DREAM
Everyday new Chiropractic graduates go into the world armed with their diplomas and their excitement for Chiropractic. Some new graduates choose to find an office space, hire staff and open their doors expecting patients to stream in with their insurance cards and bottomless wallets.... Unfortunately it's not quite as easy as that, which is why there are so many new doctors and startup clinics going out of business within the first year.
There's so much more to starting a business than receiving an excellent Education and having the desire to spread the passion for Chiropractic. ION CHIRO provides our doctors with the tools necessary to be both a great treating doctor and a successful business person.
THE FOUNDATION
Handling a patient encounter in the real world is nothing like the situations encountered in school. Patients have tough questions, objections to care, financial concerns and questions about their insurance. Doctors have to know how to prescribe treatment plans based upon the patients history and exam findings and even more challenging than that...the doctors must find a way to explain chiropractic to the patient so that they understand why they must follow their doctors recommendations.
We've lost count of how many times during our coaching of doctors that we've been told "I had X amount of new patients who qualified for chiropractic care, but I only managed to start about half of the ones whose cases I accepted because they just didn't get what I was telling them." We think that this is a shame and there is absolutely NO reason for this to be happening to so many doctors who just want to help people get better; it has been our experience that the majority of the time, the reason doctors cannot convert qualified potential patients into practice members is because the doctor did not lay down a solid Foundation on the first two patient encounters.
People today understand how to take pills because they are inundated with prescription and OTC drugs being touted in the media as the easy fix, the quick way to get rid of symptoms; many physical medicine providers are running into this quick fix mentality and without the proper training on how to educate your patients, these people may never find the cause of their pain.
It's your life....
Dream it, Live it, Own it!
